As before, attach it to the purple square along that route. Use Wingardium Leviosa again to carry another block over to the left. That'll make them recede, allowing your other character to proceed along that path and find another block. Then you can use Wingardium Leviosa to raise it into the air before carrying it across the gap to some vines on the right side. This allows the other character to proceed along that path.Īlong the left path, your character will reach a torch set in a bracket to the left.
Use Wingardium Leviosa to lift it up and then carry it left before finally setting it on a purple block along the left path. Have one character start along the path to the right, where he or she will find an overturned block. To advance along them, you'll need to work with your partner. There are pathways along the far left and right sides of that pit. It extends only so far, after which point you'll find yourself facing a long pit with beams crossing it. You can break apart the nearby furniture for easy LEGO studs, but be careful as you proceed down the hall. On the other side of the door, you'll arrive at the start of a hallway. (Right Image) The spell also works to carry a torch across a gap, forcing nasty vines to drop some boards that you need to use. (Left Image) Use Wingardium Leviosa to shift boards across the passageway so that your partner can proceed. Build those into a statue, then hit it with magic to prompt a door along the back wall to open. There, you can blast some objects with your magic and open a treasure chest. Then you can leap onto them and gusts of wind will carry you to the ledge overhead. Hit them with magic to set them to spinning. The water will pour onto the bed to reveal flowers. Use Wingardium Leviosa magic to lift it into the air and to carry it to the right, where a flowerbed awaits against a wall.
To the right of the fountain, there's a barrel that now should be filled with water. Hit that with magic to reveal a lantern that will thaw the fountain. Mostly, you'll want to pay attention to an icy mass to the fountain's left side. There are a few things that you can do here. With that busy work done, head along the newly-opened pathway on your way to the far ledge, where you will find another area that seems like a dead end. Quickly change over to your offensive magic again so that you can then take out the Dementor that will rush you. Use that pickaxe to break apart some rubble, then use your Lumos magic to remove vines that block your path. You can use magic to make a lantern appear along one side of the wall, and you can open a treasure chest to snag a pickaxe. However, you have all of the tools that you need to proceed. Use that water to cause some large flowers to blossom in the soil at the base of the wall to the right. (Right Image) Thaw the fountain, which fills a barrel with water. Then use Lumos on the vines, but be ready for a Dementor to rush you as they recede. A gameplay demo was also released around the time of the game's launch.(Left Image) You can use the pickaxe to remove the rubble. Advertising was put in place in-between the game's announcement and its launch in June 2010, such as promotional art and trailers. In June 2009, the game was officially confirmed by Warner Brothers as LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and was slated for a 2010 release.
Before an official announcement, there were already rumours of a LEGO Harry Potter game being made which date back to 2008.
